Solution and operating timeline

  1. Day 1: Pickup and export declaration

Cargo is loaded at the customer’s factory in China while export documents are prepared. Customers can use AI online: paste their data into the chat box and give an instruction to populate the fields automatically.

Export declaration is completed the same day. The goods enter the port consolidation area and are matched to the next express sailing without waiting for LCL consolidation.

  2. Days 2–4: Direct express sailing

The Yantai–Incheon express route has a sea crossing of approximately 15 hours.

  3. Days 4–5: Korean clearance coordination

Before arrival, our Korean agent and the consignee have already reviewed the documentation.

Clearance progress is shared in real time under DAP, helping prevent port delays caused by incomplete consignee documents. General cargo clearance in Korea usually takes 1–3 days; advance review can reduce the actual process to 1–2 days.

Korean import clearance record: “수입신고수리” means the import declaration has been accepted; “반출완료” means the cargo has left the bonded facility. Sensitive details are obscured.
  4. Days 5–7: Final delivery and receipt

After customs release, our local Korean delivery partner collects the goods and delivers them to the consignee’s designated address.

Delivery covers Seoul, Gyeonggi-do and the Incheon area. Non-remote destinations can receive cargo the same or following day, completing the journey in 4–7 days.

Why choose this route?

Express sailing instead of slower consolidation

The short China–Korea sea route limits the cost difference between express and slower services, while transit times can differ by more than twofold. A 4–7-day door-to-door commitment makes express sea freight competitive with air freight on speed, at approximately one-third of the air freight cost.

DAP means more than arrival at port

Under DAP, the seller does not take on import duties or the principal import clearance obligation, but delivery is completed when the goods reach the named place and are available to the consignee. If clearance breaks down, final delivery cannot begin and the DAP delivery remains incomplete. This case preserves the DAP allocation of responsibilities while using information sharing and agent coordination to reduce clearance uncertainty and start delivery on time.
